East Haddam

Bishopsgate Inn has been in operation since the late 1960's. Built in 1818 by Horace Hayden, this inn offers six guest rooms, four with open fireplaces, and one suite that includes a sauna.

This is a beautiful place to stay for romantic getaways, weddings, honeymoons, relaxing vacations, and weekend getaways. The Boardman House offers a King Boardman room with a private porch and a King Garden Suite with its own private entrance from the garden.
